Driver Hire’s Stoke franchise has topped the charts in a nationwide sales and recruitment competition.
The league table, called National Sales Days, is an internal contest to encourage business growth among Driver Hire’s franchise locations. The annual competition takes into account the number of new customers and drivers brought on board by individual franchise branches across the UK.
Driver Hire Stoke’s recruitment team did the franchise unit proud this year, surpassing more than 100 other teams to take the top spot. Since franchisee Paul Crossley bought the branch in 2019, it’s gone from strength to strength.
Sales have risen by 100 percent and customer invoices by 300 percent. Meanwhile, there’s work for around 25 drivers every week and the branch has been able to hire a new staff member. As a result of these improved performance figures, Driver Hire Stoke will soon move to a larger premises.
Crossley was thrilled to collect his National Sales Days award:
“Sales competitions like this one gives my team extra drive and focus to win a really worthwhile prize and see ourselves on top of the national table. We’re already looking forward to the next one!”
The Driver Hire Stoke recruitment team are now the happy owners of £2,000 in shopping vouchers, which they’ve decided to redeem at John Lewis.
According to the business franchise’s Network Development Director, Simon Johnston, the sales and recruitment competition is just one aspect of Driver Hire’s useful franchisee induction pack:
“National Sales Days are another example of the comprehensive support package we offer to help franchisees develop their business and maximise its potential. Stoke are to be congratulated on their success.”
