Best Western Tries New Hotel Concept

Best Western International Inc. is trying out a new-build hotel in north Phoenix.

In a bid to attract more customers to its hotels, Best Western International Inc. is launching a new concept in the Happy Valley area of Phoenix.

This new hotel will be built for purpose, which is the first time Best Western has designed its own property. It will also be home to two of its brands, Best Western Plus and Executive Residency to attract a wider pool of customers.

Best Western Plus is known for its upgraded amenities and stylish interiors, offering space to work and relax with large desks, comfortable beds, breakfast stations and a fitness centre. Executive Residency is geared towards business customers with their well-appointed suites, offering space to sleep, dine, work and relax. Each suite comes with a kitchenette fitted with a cooktop, sink, microwave and fridge. They are designed to make working away from home more comfortable and healthy, offering people the opportunity to prepare their own nutritious meals.

Once built, the hotel will have 51 Best Western Plus rooms and 46 Executive Residency suites. It will also boast a fitness centre.

With a blend of these two brands, the new hotel will be designed to attract business, leisure and extended-stay customers, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

The new hotel is being built this year, and they have just enjoyed a ceremony in honour of the innovative new project. Ron Pohl, Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Best Western explains why they chose the Happy Valley area. He says, “business is booming in north Phoenix making the area an ideal location for a unique dual-branded hotel like ours, which caters to both business and leisure travellers.”

Indeed, another Best Western has opened in Phoenix recently, and there has been steady influx of new hotels and resorts in Happy Valley itself over the past few years. Tourism is hugely picking up in the area, and Best Western saw the opportunity to instil its brand into the centre of the flourishing market.
