One of the largest lawn care franchises in the world kicks off 2018 with two new investors.

TruGreen Professional Lawn care could not have asked for a better way to start 2018 than with the arrival of two new investors. George Michaela and Mike Simmonds joined TruGreen Professional lawn care franchise family just in the knick of time for spring and grass growing season. George is a Bromsgrove businessman with 30 years’ management experience in the food service industry. When asked how he felt about the switch to professional lawn care industry, George said: “I relish the challenge of sales and my former business was built around customer service so I think I’m in a good place to make a real success of my new TruGreen business. My aim is to add more vans and technicians and I’m really keen to offer apprenticeships to help young people into work. For now, though, I’m just excited to get going.”

Mike is a business development professional whose passion for the outdoors and strong desire to start his own business lead him to TruGreen: “I’m excited to get started in my new business and build something for myself and my family. As the business grows, I’ll look to take on additional staff, both skilled and apprentices, and invest further into the local area. My main focus is to provide the highest level of customer service so that my clients come back to me year after year.”

Former Wembley head groundsman and brand operations manager for TruGreen commented: “George and Mike are going to make fantastic TruGreen franchisees and business owners. Their commitment to customer service and following our ‘green grass, no weeds’ mantra will ensure them really successful businesses. We’re delighted they chose to invest in TruGreen Professional LawnCare and it’s fantastic to have more vans on the road and hopefully many more vans to follow.”

TruGreen Professional Lawn Care is part of the ServiceMaster franchise group and has been recognised as a leading franchise opportunity in the Elite Franchise Top 100 franchises in the UK and will exhibit at the upcoming National Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham from the 16th to the 17th of February.
