Franchising details
TruGreen are looking for new franchisees - join a franchise where 70% gross profit can be achieved on every job!
As a TruGreen franchise owner, you will be responsible for transforming customers’ lawns through care treatment programmes. This year-long venture will also involve management activities that are in line with owning a multi-van operation. There will always be opportunities to grow your franchise, including managing your own fleet of branded vehicles.
While every TruGreen customer is different, they all share the same desire of wanting to keep their lawns in pristine condition. Always keep in mind that what might suit one customer might not suit the next. You will always have to be flexible in your approach by offering a fully tailored service.
Positive customer referrals and accolades will help you to grow your business quickly. This focus towards customer service is one of the ways TruGreen franchise owners can separate themselves from the competition.
Some of your lawn care treatments will involve:
Scarifying and raking
Aerification
Weed and feed
Eradication of moss/algae/weeds from paving
General clearing
Garden maintenance
Other management activities will involve:
Online and offline marketing
The purchasing of materials
Office administration
Lawn inspections
Corresponding with customers via phone and email
Recruiting and training staff
Running a TruGreen franchise offers you the chance to run a successful business while still enjoying the benefits of being your own boss.

Training and support
TruGreen’s franchise training is designed to match up to your existing level of experience. For example, if you are an experienced landscape gardener, you will not be required to undergo the same level of training as someone who is new to the industry.
All franchisees, however, will be required to undergo a two-week training academy. Here you will be taught general business basics such as:
Online and offline marketing
Sales techniques
Accountancy
Customer service
Health and safety requirements
Along with this, you will also earn a Pesticide Application qualification from the National Proficiency Council (NPCT) and brush up on your knowledge of lawn care.
As we touched on above, there is extra training and support available for those that need it most. That includes one-to-one training and additional learning seminars. What’s more, we also offer all franchisees the opportunity to take refresher courses throughout the year.
You will be assigned your own TruGreen Network manager that you can contact for advice seven days a week. Every manager has a minimum of 30 years of experience in the garden maintenance industry, making them the ideal person to turn to should any questions or issues arise.
All TruGreen franchise owners receive:
Continual training
Technical guides and reports
Business development plans
Management support
Equipment
Marketing know-how and materials
