Smart Raspberry takes part in Big Lunch festival

Smart Raspberry gets stuck in to the fun at a local food festival event in the town of Leighton Buzzard.

Cuisines of the world came to Leighton Buzzard earlier this month, as it celebrated the joy of food from all round the world. More than 40 street food vendors gathered for 2019’s Big Lunch Food Festival, offering a taste from countries including Italy, Brazil, Morocco, Sri Lanka, Germany and Jamaica, as well as specialities from several US states, including New York.

Hundreds of locals attended to sample tastes of the world, with plenty of options for both sweet and savoury lovers on offer. Education franchise Smart Raspberry was on hand to provide some sweet family fun, with a fruit kebab-making experience that people of all ages could get involved with. Other cooking demonstrations happened throughout the day, showing the hungry attendees how to make a delicious range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options at home.

As well as the delicious array of food, live entertainment including covers band The Choice and the Toddington Town Band put on brilliant performances for everyone to enjoy.
