Papa John’s takes branding to the road

Papa John’s has rolled out its iconic branding to its fleet of delivery vehicles that operate up and down the UK.
Papa John’s has announced that its UK delivery fleet will now carry its signature branding, spreading its message of ‘better ingredients, better pizza’ across the UK. The 28 delivery trucks take the fresh pizza dough from the pizza franchise’s cutting-edge factory in Milton Keynes and bring it to Papa John’s vast network of stores across the country. They make the trip around twice per week to each of the 400 UK locations and will now be instantly recognisable by pizza fans on their many journeys across the country.
Phill Gaffer QFP, franchise sales and business development director, said that he was thrilled to see the new fleet of delivery vehicles take to the road.

“Papa John’s continues to expand rapidly in the UK and so it’s now great to see the brand en route to stores across the country. The fleet ensures all our franchisees get deliveries of fresh dough on time and the trucks look great advertising our top-quality pizza. Our: “BETTER INGREDIENTS. He explained how Papa John’s is also looking to make its deliveries more efficient with the latest software.
“Our logistics supplier has focused on optimising delivery schedules using bespoke route planning software which considers the average time certain routes take at certain times of the day. The vehicles are the latest Euro trucks which can all go into London’s low emission zone and a process of rolling replacement is designed to incorporate the very latest models which have the best emission rates.”
Gaffer concluded:
“Our transport vehicles and optimised delivery schedule are another example of how we are always working hard to improve Papa John’s infrastructure on behalf of our franchisees. The branding on the trucks looks great, it’s fun, fresh and appealing, and is just one of the many ingredients that go to make Papa John’s the best pizza in town!”
