Raising money for charity Crisis, Papa John’s sold unique, pizza-scented wrapping paper to brighten up the Christmas period.
Christmas might feel like a distant memory, but the festive collection of Papa John’s scented wrapping paper is worth reflecting back on.
The unique offering was launched by the pizza franchise late last year to let pizza lovers all across the UK spread cheer and the scent of the savoury Italian treat with every gift they gave. It was available in two fun designs, one featuring a ‘Where’s Wally’ style illustration with the franchise’s logo and the other showcasing a delicious pepperoni pie that looked good enough to tuck in to.
Giles Codd, Marketing Director at Papa John’s, explained how the fun, collectable paper will help brighten up a difficult time of year for others.
“The festive range of collectables forms a part of our ‘Christmas is Better Shared’ campaign and is a fun way to help spread the Christmas spirit beyond our delicious pizzas. We’re really proud to be working with Crisis, a charity that aims to eradicate homelessness and provides vital services to people in the UK at one of the hardest times of the year. We hope that the money raised will help toward Crisis continuing the fantastic work they do not just at Christmas, but throughout the whole year.”
