Papa John’s is on the hunt for someone who can try out its delicious new pizza – and get paid for the pleasure!

Papa John’s is recruiting for what sounds like the dream job for many of us – a part time pizza taster. You’ll get paid a handsome sum of £6,000 to try out the delicious new flavours that the pizza franchise is testing, as well as getting to contribute ideas for yummy new dishes and only needing to commit just 8-10 hours per month.

The catch? The position has been named ‘Chief Vegan Officer’, so it’s only open to plant-based pizza fans.

The new CVO will be in charge of making sure that thepizza franchise’s meat and dairy free offerings are up to scratch. Their role will see them test out delicious dishes including Papa John’s brand new cauliflower buffalo wings before they’re rolled out across all of its restaurants. The enterprising new recruit will also be tasked with helping the franchise come up with lots of tempting new options for veggies, vegans and those who avoid dairy to tuck in to.

Papa John’s is looking for those who are passionate about their veganism to apply, asking for people who regularly use #vegan on social media and that could stand up to fierce debate from Veganism’s harshest critics, including outspoken presenter Piers Morgan. The pizza chain is also looking for candidates who have a background in food development/technology or who have a food science degree.

The role will require the successful candidate to help Papa John’s until June 2020, by which time the pizza franchise is likely to have introduced a number of delicious vegan dishes to its menu. So, you could potentially be in with the chance of tasting pizza and other takeaway treats for the next six months, if you’re the lucky one recruited.
