Homeclean franchisee Tina Lloyd got the community involved for a morning of coffee and cake to raise money for charity.
All across the country, people gathered their friends and colleagues to enjoy a slice or two of delicious cake and a nice refreshing brew, all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Homeclean franchisee Tina Lloyd, who runs the Birmingham West Midlands location of the cleaning franchise, hosted her very own Macmillan Coffee Morning on the 28th of September. The generous businesswoman welcomed clients, her team of cleaners and friends from across the area to indulge in a cheeky piece of cake or two for the fantastic cause.
On offer were decadent chocolate fudge cake, zesty lemon drizzle cake and luxurious cupcakes, as well as plenty of freshly brewed tea and coffee to wash the sweet treats down. Speaking about the fantastic event, Tina Lloyd said:
**"We are so lucky to have such a fantastic community around us and it is an honour to be able to host events like these where we can bring together those people who are so important to us whilst also raising much needed funds for a very special charity."**
Similar events were held all across the country and were designed to get people together to remember those who they’ve lost to cancer, support those who are battling the disease and raise money to fund Macmillan’s vital services.
