The South Devon unit of popular senior care franchise, Home Instead, has proudly announced that it’s the 18th franchise to receive an ‘Outstanding rating’ - the highest possible from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The franchise is ran by Peter and Mercedes Hughes who said they were inspired to develop their own care service after experiencing below-standard care themselves. The pair opened their franchise only two years ago and are now amongst only 2% of home care providers to receive the prized rating.
Peter said: “It is our desire to make a difference to people’s lives, allowing them to remain in their own homes should they choose to. Our clients tell us how important it is to stay in their own homes and from my own family’s experience, I understand the value of this independence.”
The home care franchise currently has 190 franchises in the UK and provides an innovative care model which has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. If you would like to find out more about becoming a Home Instead franchisee, click here.
