Esquires Coffee goes barking mad

Esquires Coffee in Stoke-on-Trent held its first ever Dog Lovers Day that saw furry friends descend on the location.
An Esquires Coffee franchisee hosted a ‘Dog Lovers Day’ in late October, inviting local dog-owners to pop in for a hot drink and a chat.
Vivien, who owns the branch of the coffee shop franchise, set up the event so that dog lovers and local professionals could connect and discuss the best ways to look after their precious pets by offering their services and expert advice. It was also a fantastic chance for the dogs to make some new friends and owners were able to chat over one of Esquires’ warming hot drinks.
The event ran from 12-4pm and those who attended were given the chance to win prizes in a free raffle. Up for grabs were luxury grooming sessions, free sessions with an experienced local dogwalker, fun toys and tasty treats for the dogs to enjoy. Esquires Coffee also managed to find sponsorship from local companies including grooming service DogPod, Pip’s Pet Care and Doggy Day Camp, making the event a financially savvy one too.
Vivien said that she was thrilled with how well the event went and explained that the event was about more than just getting dog owners to pop in for a coffee and a cake.
“This event was a perfect example of how dogs can bring communities together. We were thrilled that Esquires Coffee Hanley could play a role in connecting dog-lovers across the Stoke-on-Trent area, all whilst enjoying some great food and coffee too!”
