énergie Fitness launches new class for members with injuries or mobility issues
énergie Fitness Milton Keynes has been celebrating the launch of its brand-new fitness class that’s designed to suit those with injuries or ailments.
Many people may find that traditional exercise isn’t suitable for them due to injuries or conditions that limit what they’re capable of doing at the gym. However, owner Rob Francis has teamed up with expert personal trainer Kamal Saggu, who has years of experience helping hospital patients recover from injuries, to launch a brand-new class that is suitable for those with physical limitations.
The class offered at the branch of the gym franchise will feature combinations of low-impact conditioning exercises that are designed to build fitness and strength. Rob explained that he was keen to launch a class specifically for those with issues that affect their workouts.
“Our gym has members who suffer from muscular or skeletal issues, mobility issues, injuries. Although our expert trainers can tailor almost any class to the needs of individuals in the group, there wasn’t anything specifically for those less mobile or confident members in the programme.”
Using light weights, resistance bands, medicine balls and the branch’s YARD training area, small groups of fitness fans will be able to enjoy a challenging workout that won’t have a negative impact on any injuries or conditions.
“We hope that this new class will encourage more people who might otherwise lack the confidence to join a gym, to get involved, get fit and have fun along the way,” says Rob. “We are steadily creating a real community here at énergie, it really is the place where you can belong.”
With more than 100,000 members across its territories, énergie Fitness offers an affordable alternative to traditional, intimidating gyms. It encourages its members to fall in love with fitness, supported by its friendly, expert staff throughout their fitness journey.
