Driver Hire is once again a finalist for the HSBC Franchisor of the Year awards.

Driver Hire joins five other finalists in the HSBC Franchisor of the Year awards. It is a notable commendation that recognises businesses that follow robust best practice guidelines and prove themselves to be successful through innovation, a strong brand and excellent customer service.

In association with bfa (British Franchise Association) and HSBC, the awards give the finalists and overall winner an enormous boost to their business, acting as a symbol of merit. It gives potential franchisees and customers confidence in the brand and its service.

Driver Hire has been shortlisted to win the overall award for the 12th year. It is a serious feat, having entered the awards 13 times. The bfa is consistently impressed by Driver Hire’s business, and this latest recognition demonstrates how sound its business strategy is.

Not only has Driver Hire managed to secure its finalist place for bfa awards, but it has just completed its sixth record year in trading. In fact, it is the sixth consecutive year that it has enjoyed record success.

Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director, Graham Duckworth, commented on the nomination, “we’ve made it to the finals in 12 out of the last 13 years which I think speaks volumes about the quality and value of our business model.”

It isn’t just Driver Hire’s franchise model that has scooped awards. A number of the individual franchisees have won awards locally for the positive impact their businesses are making on the community.

Driver Hire has been shortlisted alongside Agency Express, Autosmart, Costa Coffee, McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd and TaxAssist Accountants. They each presented their full entries to the judges in March, and the final winner will be announced at a ceremony on June 28th at the ICC in Birmingham.

Pip Wilkins, bfa CEO said of the awards, “our annual awards are proving more popular than ever, with a 32% increase in entries over 2017. It’s been a tough task to narrow them down to this year’s finalists. I’d like to thank everyone who entered and congratulate those nominated for an award”.

Driver Hire has worked hard to create such a strong business plan to enjoy its consistently high levels of success. It is the UK’s largest specialist supplier of temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff.
