Driver Hire is encouraging some healthy competition amongst its franchisees by organising a company-wide sweepstake.

Driver Hire has distributed an official Rugby World Cup sweepstake poster to all of its offices across the UK to encourage healthy competition among its workforce. The event, which takes place every four years, sees the best Rugby Union teams come together from across the world to battle it out for the title.

And, across the UK and probably the world, workforces are likely entering into fun sweepstakes to try to win a few pounds for backing the winning team. Driver Hire is no exception, as the business franchise has organised for a poster to be printed and distributed to make it easier for its franchisees and their teams to start a sweepstake.

Driver Hire’s Chief Executive, Chris Chidley, explained why the franchise decided to get involved with the sporting event.

“There’s going to be some friendly rivalry across our international network. There’ll be plenty of media coverage, so we thought we’d give our customers the opportunity to really get involved. And there’s no better way to do that than with an office sweepstake. Campaigns and initiatives such as this one are all part of the award-winning support Driver Hire offers to its franchisees. Whilst they always take customer service very seriously, we also believe there’s room to have some fun at work too. And that’s what this sweepstake is all about.”

The Rugby World Cup is now well underway and Driver Hire’s network will have to wait until the 2nd November to find out which person in each of its 103 offices will scoop the jackpot.

Driver Hire specialises in recruiting skilled logistics staff for permanent and temporary roles across the UK.
