ChipsAway has revealed the design for its renovated banger that it will be entering into the #Bangers4Ben rally.
As the #Bangers4Ben event draws ever closer, ChipsAway has unveiled the design of its ‘banger’ entry. Coming in at just £510, £240 under the maximum budget of £750, the rundown car has been transformed thanks to the skills of ChipsAway’s skilled vehicle technicians. It’s now emblazoned with the ChipsAway logo, as well as a fun ‘mobile fish and chips’ design that the franchise hopes will get their vehicle noticed.
The ChipsAway team members, Steve Perkins and Terrance Thant, will don branded aprons and trilby hats and will be handing out packets of (fake) fish and chips along the way to keep with their design. The pair will begin their journey with an overnight ferry from Portsmouth, before setting off on their rally from Le Mans. Their journey will then take them through Bordeaux, giving them a chance to marvel at its stunning coastal roads and lush countryside, before finishing in Nantes.
ChipsAway are aiming to raise £1,000 to support the worthy cause but are still appealing for generous donations to help them reach their target.
Tim Harris, Managing Director of ChipsAway, commented on the van based franchise’s entry into the fun rally event.
“We’re delighted to be able to get involved and raise money for this fantastic cause. Ben provides amazing support for automotive people and their family dependants, and we are hoping to raise a substantial amount of money to help them continue providing their outstanding service.”
