The automotive paintwork repair franchise hosts its annual conference and awards dinner to celebrate its achievements.
The leading minor vehicle paintwork repair business in the van-based franchise sector hosted its 25th Anniversary and Awards Dinner, inviting 240 of its members.
The conference featured updates from its various directors. Managing Director, Tim Harris, highlighted key areas where the company is looking to develop in the future, and Technical Director, Simon Kings, emphasised the franchise’s particular success in training on Electric Vehicles, Advanced Dent Removal and ADAS. Ella Pugh, Head of Sales and Marketing, rounded it off with the franchise’s 2019 marketing achievements.
Franchisees also got the chance to witness new products on display provided by suppliers and industry experts at the vendor show featured at the conference.
During the awards dinner, members of ChipsAway’s network were recognised and congratulated for their achievements. Gary and Dean Watson, some of the first ever franchisees, were rewarded for 25 years as integral cogs of the ChipsAway business machine. Mobile Franchisee of the Year was awarded to the newer-franchisees Tan Likiliki for the efforts he’s put in to develop his business, and that’s only to mention a few of the talented winners.
Harris, Managing Director, praised Tan, saying **“He embodies the key values of the ChipsAway brand by delivering exceptional quality repairs, outstanding customer service and ultimately managing a fantastic local business.”**
Two-time award-winners Phil and Cas Clifford-Wareham commended the event, saying:
**“The effort and work which goes into the annual conference is clear for all to see and the whole team gets so much out of attending. It was very unexpected and a huge honour to be awarded 'Car Care Centre of the Year', not to mention the ‘Marketing’ award, and we're looking forward to putting our ambitious plans for the future into action with the help and support of the great team at Head Office!”**
The evening was topped off with a charity raffle in aid of Help for Heroes, which raised a record of £2,500 before the attendees enjoyed the rest of the night, rightfully celebrating their well-deserved recognition for their successes.
