Bartercard launches B2B mobile app

Bartercard has taken its business to the next level with the launch of its Bartercard Mobile App, making the company even more accessible for its members.

The new B2B franchise trading platform gives businesses exclusive access to over 54,000 likeminded cardholders so that they can facilitate professional ‘bartering’. By allowing companies to trade excess stock, free up cash and conduct other mutually beneficial trades with international business people, Bartercard’s members benefit from the security and flexibility that isn’t guaranteed when trading privately.

Now, Bartercard’s members will be able to access its services wherever they are by bringing them to members’ smartphones. Although the franchise has more than 100 global offices, the introduction of the app will allow members of the trading network to pay invoices, process sales and find other members to conduct trades with while they’re on the go. It also has a built in ‘Go Shopping’ feature that lets other members browse the products and services on offer or search for specific companies or categories.

Other features of the app include a ‘Near Me’ option, which allows members to see which goods and services are in their area. Members will also be able to rate each other and verify the quality of those around them so that others know which businesses to trust. The app also features a QR code reader, which will save members time and stop them having to type in lots of tedious details for every transaction made.

Unfortunately, the innovative app is currently only available in selected countries including New Zealand, but it’s hoped that it will soon be rolled out internationally if it proves to be a success. Bartercard has grown since it was established in 1991 into one of the world’s largest trade exchanges and a highly respected and recognised brand that facilitates B2B trading.
