Bartercard has announced that it will be sponsoring West Ham United Women during the upcoming football season.
The business franchise’s logo will appear on players’ socks, promoting the exciting brand to all of the club’s fans.
The lucrative contract is understood to be worth between £100,000 and £150,000 and will be mutually beneficial for both the club and Bartercard. It will also allow local businesses, including the football club, to take advantage of the incredible trading opportunities that Bartercard offers its members. Speaking about the partnership, Jack Sullivan, Managing Director of the team, said:
“The women’s game continues to grow globally and it’s testament to its power that brands like Bartercard are partnering with us and women’s football more broadly. On a personal note, I’m excited to use the Bartercard network, to see how we can work with other local businesses for the enhancement of our operations.”
And Bartercard’s Managing Director, Chris Kirby, said that the franchise was thrilled to have secured such an exciting partnership, and is looking forward to the further networking opportunities it could bring in.
“Bartercard is keen to speak with business owners who may want to come on board to our network of 55,000 members globally and also who may be interested in franchise opportunities.”
Since 1991, Bartercard has offered a way for businesses to ‘barter’ their goods and services through its secure network. Rather than always using cash to acquire the things they need, businesses can trade excess stock or time in exchange for valuable items or services.
Now, the franchise operates in more than nine countries, and has 75 offices across the globe. It’s still on the lookout for ambitious franchisees who can help expand its reach to even more businesses, and generate a healthy income while doing so.
