Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon in the US treated essential workers to their baked delights on Easter Sunday.
Even though the shopping centre in Salisbury, Maryland was closed, the teams at Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon were eager to do their bit to help keyworkers. In fact, the Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon cobrand decided to introduce “Random Packs of Kindness”.
Working with the local community, they matched each Cinnabon CinnaPack purchase and donate to Salisbury’s hardworking essential workers. Fans of the bakery franchise could buy the packs online and have them delivered straight to their door. All essential worker donations took place on Easter Sunday.
Chad Shank, Director of Operations for the Cinnabon cobrand said:
“[At a] time like this we have to come together and there has to be a glimpse of hope and we’re in it together, we’ll come back stronger, come back fighting, and it’s building that community.”
According to Cinnabon, they are planning to keep the programme running and repeat the kind gesture for Mother’s Day, which is the 10th May in the US.
