Anytime Fitness is celebrating hitting a landmark number of locations in the Philippines.
Anytime Fitness has been celebrating the opening of its 100th branch in the Philippines. Now boasting more than 80,000 active members across the country, the fitness franchise is actively recruiting new franchisees across the country to capitalise on its momentum. The brand aims to combat the intimidating image that many have built up in their heads about the gym and encourage even more people into enjoying fitness. It wants to remove any fear members have and allow them to enjoy their time in the gym, as well as enticing non-members into joining one of its locations.
Anytime Fitness Philippines’ newest branch saw its grand opening happen at Estancia in Capital Commons. It was attended by Anytime Fitness Asia’s executive VP for operations, Buddy Mortin, as well as regional agent Ryan Cheal and Asia regional marketing manager, Jap Angeles. The occasion was fun for all, but it was a day to be celebrated in particular by Anytime Fitness’ newest franchisee as they embark on their new business venture.
Maurice Levine, CEO of Anytime Fitness Asia, commented on the franchise’s fantastic achievement.
“I am confident that the Philippine market is more than ready for Anytime Fitness. The number of clubs we have in the country is a testament to the dedication of the Filipino people to health and fitness. They create the need and we are here to heed the call.”
Anytime Fitness has more than 4,000 locations spanning 50 countries, making it one of the largest fitness franchises in the world. It was established in 2002 by Chuck Runyon, Dave Mortensen and Jeff Klinger and has gone on to become the fastest growing health club franchise in the world.
