Wafflemeister is bringing its waffles, crepes and shakes to Harrow’s St George’s shopping centre.
Belgian waffle chain Wafflemeister will bring its delicious treats to Harrow’s St George’s shopping centre, as the company celebrates the opening of a brand-new waffle bar.
Due to open in late June, customers will be able to enjoy Wafflemeister’s tasty menu, which features a wide range of treats including: sweet and savoury American-style waffles and crepes, sweet Belgian liege waffles, classic shakes and Italian-style gelato.
Customers can also indulge in a quality cup of coffee or try Wafflemeister’s decadent ‘greedy’ hot chocolate.
The new opening will be a fantastic addition to the St George’s centre, creating around 10 new jobs for the area and joining over 35 other shops and restaurants.
St George’s Shopping centre manager, Darren Harman stated how pleased they are to be welcoming the company.
“We’re very excited about the opening of Wafflemeister. It’s a brilliant, fun brand that complements the mix of retailers we have here at St. George’s shopping centre. I’m sure our customers are going to be thrilled to have another exciting place to discover."
Founded in 1999 by Alexander Troullier, Wafflemeister has expanded internationally to territories such as the Middle East and Singapore. It now has over 20 outlets across the UK, with ambitious plans for growth. Its signature Liege waffle recipe was perfected over 50 years ago, using a secret dough recipe instead of traditional batter for a more decadent waffle.
Priding itself on investing time and funds into training and continually developing its business and staff, it seeks to give employees and franchises the opportunity to grow with the business. The business model is adaptable to suit small, mall-cart spaces or café-style units, meaning there’s potentially an opportunity for franchisees to launch any size of business.
