PART TWO: Merry Maids introduces new UK brand leader

In a recent blog post, the cleaning franchise introduced Vikki Donnachie, who officially took over from Steve Morris at the beginning of 2022.
Merry Maids introduced Vikki with plenty of excitement and enthusiasm, and the blog was full of fascinating information about the cleaning franchise’s new UK brand leader and her journey to the role. This is the second of two articles recounting the content of that blog post, and today you’ll learn Vikki’s long term plans for the franchise.
Vikki’s first long-term plan is to “work closely with the existing network”, partnering with existing franchisees to try and “explore new opportunities, alternative ways and ideas - fresh initiatives - to help boost the business”. She wants “to enable the network to get the best out of their investment and to build a really good relationship with [Merry Maids]”.
Why? Because for Vikki, the relationship between franchisee and franchisor should always be a partnership, not a dictatorship. In the words of the brand-new brand leader, “It’s all about making sure [franchisees] get as much out of the support that we give as well, whilst exploring other services and other offerings down the line.”
The second part of Vikki’s long-term plan is to “work very closely with franchise recruitment”, bringing in new franchise partners and “some fresh energy”. Vikki strongly believes that the network is “poised for some great investors in 2022”. She said, “Following on from recent investment from two new franchise partners, we plan to build on this success.”
As she puts it, “Even during challenging times, Merry Maids has remained an attractive opportunity for those looking to be in business for themselves, but not by themselves.” If you’d like to do exactly this - go into business for yourself, not by yourself - you can find out more about a potential investment with Merry Maids via the franchise’s profile page, which you’ll discover linked above.
