Dacre, Son & Hartley Knaresborough enters annual Christmas Tree Festival

The Knaresborough branch of the rapidly expanding estate agency franchise is very much in the festive spirit in 2021, and recently gleefully entered its local Christmas Tree Festival with a submission dubbed “Home Tweet Home”.
Many businesses, individuals, families, schools, shops, societies and clubs participate in this special Knaresborough tradition, and the beautifully decorated trees - including Dacre, Son & Hartley’s - stand proudly on display at St John’s parish church. This year, the property franchise’s entry features hand-painted wooden houses complete with mini “For Sale” signs. Can you imagine anything more adorable?
In the words of Dacre, Son & Hartley’s Senior Associate, Nick Alcock, “Every year we really enjoy taking part in this popular event, which involves so many people from our local community. It’s a great cause and brings plenty of Christmas sparkle and joy to Knaresborough.” The event runs from Saturday 4th December all the way to Thursday 23rd December, and during a visit, donations can be made to the church’s chosen charity.
The franchise further explained, “This year’s theme is ‘I Saw Three Ships’. More than 70 trees are part of this year’s display and refreshments will be available in the HUB at the weekends. There will be live music from around a dozen local choirs and performers in the church during the three Saturdays of the festival.”
Plus, a spokesman for the event shared that the centrepiece, designed by Brian Robinson, “will be the largest and most ambitious yet, making full use of the architecture of the building”. No tickets are required this year, but interested potential visitors should bear in mind that weekends are likely to be extra-busy and numbers allowed into the church at one time will be limited.
