Creation Station Leader Bags a Gold
Award-winning children’s group, The Creation Station, sees its leader of the Stourbridge & Halesowen franchise achieve gold standard recognition.
The Creation Station franchise of Stourbridge & Halesowen is run by mum-of-one Claire Darnley. She knows first-hand how important it is to find fun activities and classes for children that develop growing minds by sparking curiosity and imagination. There’s plenty of award-winning craft classes on offer at the franchise to please children of all ages, as well as parents too!
Claire’s dedication to making sure the craft classes, events and parties are the best they can be certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed. She has recently been awarded the ‘Gold Standard of Operation’ by the Children’s Activities Association (CAA) in recognition of her award-winning children’s group. But not only that, The Creation Station itself also recently achieved the highest ‘Gold Star’ rating by the CAA. The CAA is a team made up of independent experts who rank children’s centres on a range of important issues such as health and safety, first aid, training, qualifications, insurance and criminal records.
Speaking about the achievement, Claire said: “I’m so proud to achieve the gold CAA accreditation and be providing peace of mind to all parents who bring their children along to our creative experiences.” Claire believes that the gold accreditation also provides assurance for the adults who attend The Creation Stations’ art and crafts creative events. “It’s great being part of the local community and helping to inspire imaginations with safe, high quality and fun activities.”
The Celebration Station has already enjoyed 15 years of inspiration and imagination, and it inspires over 14,500 children every week. Founded originally by Sarah Cressall, there are now 100+ franchisees running craft activities all across the country, from Orkney in the North of Scotland to Kingsbridge in Devon. The Creation Station also partners with many schools, nurseries and event organisers to provide tailored solutions from its catalogue of 13,000 arts & crafts products.
