Bella Italia offers fun on a budget

Bella Italia is offering a way for parents to keep their children entertained during the summer even if they’re on a budget.
Now the summer holidays are underway, parents are likely to be feeling the pressure when it comes to keeping their children entertained. But for many, it’s not just their own offspring that they need to keep amused during the long summer break.
In a study by Bella Italia, it was revealed that having your children’s friends over is treated by many as a competitive sport. The restaurant franchise discovered that more than a third of British mums spend more than they should on playdates, worrying that they will be judged by other parents if their entertainment is not up to scratch.
More than 16 reported that they took their children and their friends out for a meal at a restaurant, as they felt the quality of their own cooking wasn’t good enough. Considering that as many as 30 percent of UK families welcome their children’s friends more than once a month, the costs can quickly add up for parents.
Head of Brand at Bella Italia, Marc Saunders, explained how the research has led the restaurant franchise to introduce even more budget friendly options:
“This research shows how parents are keen to find more options for playdates. Our kids’ menu is perfect for those times when you just want to outsource everything and give your kids and their friends a budget-friendly treat that takes the stress away, especially with our family hour offering where you can eat delicious food and play games.”
Bella Italia has more than 100 restaurants across the UK, meaning parents will have plenty of chances to visit one of its locations over the course of the long summer holidays.
