Bella Italia Launches New Menu

The brand’s executive chef has led a health-inspired transformation of the Bella Italia experience.
Italian food connoisseur Vittorio Lettieri has made a successful push to revamp the Bella Italia menu. The brand has made a conscious move to capitalise on healthy and ethical eating trends.
The new menu – which includes a range of meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options – was inspired by Vittorio’s upbringing near the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy.
One of the signature new dishes is the Gamberoni Spirali, a salad dish bursting with the fresh flavours of spiralised carrot, beetroot and prawns. This item is one of three new dishes on the Bella Italia menu that contains under 600 calories.
For those after something a bit more indulgent, Vittorio has also introduced a classic Cacio e Pepe dish, featuring Gramigna pasta, chicken and pancetta.
All of these new menu items are set to be introduced across the restaurant franchise’s international network of 111 outlets. The new food offerings will be accompanied by restaurant refurbishments, which aim to revitalise the Bella Italia dining experience.
Marc Saunders is Head of Brand at Bella Italia. He welcomed the brand’s new sense of direction and the changes it was making to offer a more varied choice of dishes.
“Ethical and healthy dishes are becoming increasingly important factors in where consumers decide to eat, which has been an important influence in our latest menu innovation”.
“In a highly competitive market, you have to continually move forward and evolve as a brand in order to stand out on the high street. Crucially, we’ll always do this while staying true to our identity and brand DNA”.
