Wolf prowls into Nottingham

Wolf Italian has opened its doors in the vibrant and friendly city of Nottingham, offering its take on Italian fusion food.
Restaurant franchise WOLF has opened its newest branch in the heart of Nottingham city centre. On the site of a former menswear store, the delicious Italian street-food eatery has popped up for hungry shoppers to enjoy.
Serving its signature Italian wraps called piadas, customers can choose from a huge range of marinated meats and fish, and fill out their tasty wraps with fresh veggies. The restaurant will also offer rich pasta dishes, including cheesy alfredo, diavlo and pesto, alongside authentic, stone-baked pizzas. To finish, diners can order a cup of expertly roasted Italian coffee and one of Wolf’s signature cookies for a sweet treat.
The new site will have plenty of seating in its underground ‘den’, which has a cool, urban feel and is due to have a stage installed in the coming months for live comedy and events.
Franchisee Eshan Shammasizadeh explained what brought him to Nottingham:
"A gentleman asked if I was opening a business and he said, 'we love people like you bringing more businesses to Nottingham'. He was so friendly and so were a couple next door when we were looking at houses. That's what brought me to Nottingham.”
He also explained what attracted him to the WOLF franchise, having had so much experience in the retail industry with brands including Starbucks. "It's an established brand. My plan is, when this is up and running successfully, to extend to the suburbs with a mini version of Wolf with breakfast, coffee, salads and pasta.”
He added that he wants to keep the business personal and never lose its cosy, friendly feel: "The intention I have is not to be a millionaire. It's more about creating a community feel."
