Wok to Walk has opened its second location in the North West thanks to an exciting partnership with HSBC.
With the support of franchise championing bank HSBC, noodle bar franchise Wok to Walk has been able to open a new location right in the heart of Manchester.
The new 950 square foot site will have space for 44 seats, letting customers enjoy their delicious meals in store, but will also allow them to grab their food and go. Its location in Barton Arcade Deansgate makes it the perfect central location for workers and shopper to grab a quick, tasty lunch.
The new site will create up to 15 jobs for locals looking to enter the restaurant business and is anticipated to generate in excess of £800,000 of sales over the course of the next year.
Ismail Adam, who is the co-director of the Leeds and Manchester branches of Wok to Walk, expressed his excitement at the new store opening.
“This is the North West’s second Wok to Walk, and it is a privilege to bring it to the heart of Manchester. The reason why the restaurant is so popular right around the world is simple, we give our customers tasty, healthy and affordable food. The franchise offers the ability to create our own stamp on the business and we see great potential for further expansion across the North West with the support of HSBC UK.”
Relationship Manager for Greater Manchester at HSBC, Andrew Holgate, added:
“With the help of our funding package, we’re proud help bring Wok to Walk to Manchester. The brand has increasingly become synonymous with delicious and unpretentious food, for both a working lunch and a weekend treat for the family. Matched with the experience of Ismail and his team, we believe that the new restaurant will be a roaring success.”
