Coventry City Council have received a planning application from noodle franchise Wok to Walk.
Wok to Walk is looking to bring its authentic Asian noodles to a new Coventry location. This news follows the franchise’s expansion into a number of different cities in the UK in recent years, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds and Liverpool.
Coventry locals can look forward to savouring the tastes of the Far East right on their doorstep. Wok to Walk specialises in offering fresh stir-fry dishes to customers that want a convenient noodle fix.
Unlike other more calorific fast food alternatives, Wok to Walk prides itself on offering healthy cuisine. Its rice and noodle menu items can be customised with a variety of nutritional toppings, including spinach, red onion and bamboo shoots.
On its website, Wok to Walk also provides a nutritional calculator that hungry customers can use to tot up the calorie count for their favourite menu combinations.
Wok to Walk’s commitment to healthy eating is one main leverages that the noodle bar franchise is using to support its application.
The planning statement stressed, “With planning policy now actively seeking to restrict fast food outlets in certain locations to tackle childhood obesity, the very nature of the food produced at Wok to Walk sets it apart from the typical fast food cafes”.
With a Chopstix restaurant situated nearby to the planned development, Wok to Walk clearly believes that it has the upper hand on the competition. In recent years, the brand has grown to become the top wok kitchen chain in Europe.
If you want to ride the wave of Wok to Walk’s success, the brand is currently looking for franchisees who want to bring the hot noodle trend to their area. In return for a minimum investment of £100,000, franchisees will join a brand that is miles ahead of the competition in its market.
