Wiltshire Farm Foods expands head office team

Wiltshire Farm Foods recruits new team members to help it keep up with a surge of new orders.
Like many of the UK’s food businesses, Wiltshire Farm Foods has seen a boom in demand for its tasty ready meals as more and more of us stay at home. It’s particularly important that elderly people are able to order from the franchise, as many are vulnerable and have no other way of getting healthy supplies in.
Wiltshire Farm Foods is looking for temporary staff to help man the phones and online delivery service at its head office in Stourbridge. The three month contract is ideal for workers that are currently furloughed, or that have lost their jobs due to Covid-19 shut downs, to make sure that money is coming in during this trying time.
The food and beverage franchise explained that applicants should be organised and efficient, but also kind, empathetic, patient and extra-friendly when speaking to its isolated, and potentially lonely or scared, customers. They’ll be responsible for helping customers order from its menu of delicious ready-prepared meals on the phone and online, as well as making calls to customers to resolve any problems. Wiltshire Farm Foods stressed that the role is particularly important at this time, as its customer service staff may be the only people its customers speak to all day.
The temporary expansion will also help Wiltshire Farm Foods keep up with new orders and make sure all of its franchisees are free to get on the road and deliver food to vulnerable customers. It’s also likely to ease financial pressure for the lucky applicants, as many people suddenly find themselves out of work.
