Sonesh Ganatra, the Walfinch franchisee behind the new service, has a strong background in business and entrepreneurship. He has always been passionate about delivering high-quality services that make a meaningful impact, and his latest venture into home care is driven by a commitment to excellence and community well-being.

Home care is an essential service that allows people to remain in the comfort of their own homes while receiving the support they need,” says Sonesh, from Bromley. “There is huge and growing demand for home care, and I wanted to bring a fresh, high-quality approach to the sector.

With a history of successfully managing businesses, including in the childcare sector, Sonesh saw an opportunity to apply his expertise to home care. Recognising the complexities of the industry, he chose to partner with Walfinch, a franchise that aligned with his vision for outstanding care. To ensure top-tier service, he has recruited Kerry Lavallin, an experienced home care management professional, as the registered manager.

“We want to be the go-to home care service in our area,” says Sonesh. “I met several franchises, but Walfinch stood out for its commitment to quality and its exceptional support system, which enables franchisees to excel in this highly regulated sector.”

Demonstrating his confidence in the Walfinch model, Sonesh has invested in two franchise areas—Dulwich, Bromley & Sevenoaks, and Croydon. His initial focus is on Bromley, where he has lived for decades and built strong local connections. “I know the area and the community well, and with my wife being from Croydon, we bring invaluable local knowledge to the business.”

Sonesh is committed to offering bespoke care services, with a minimum 45-minute visit duration, ensuring clients receive meaningful support. His approach involves selectively recruiting a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care, as well as focusing on private clients who value high standards.

“There is some local competition, but we aim to stand out through quality and professionalism,” he says. “We are already preparing for a strong marketing push to ensure people know about our services. As an emerging brand, Walfinch offers franchisees the agility and support needed to grow, making it the ideal partner for ambitious entrepreneurs.”

Sonesh sees this venture as a fulfilling and purpose-driven chapter in his career.

My aim is to provide the most outstanding home care service in our areas, and with the support of Walfinch, I am confident that we will achieve that.
