Walfinch, the national homecare provider, has appointed Julie Farrow as senior business development manager, to support its national network of franchisees as the group continues to pursue its ambitious growth plans.

Julie joins the business with 25 years of care experience and 15 years of franchise experience in homecare, having previously worked as business development lead for the national domiciliary care agency, Bluebird care.

With a passion for supporting homecare teams, Julie explains what she brings to Walfinch and why she is excited to join the team: “I’ve worked in the care industry for many years, from learning disability care and residential, before moving into domiciliary care. I enjoy inspiring business owners, managers and coordinators to get the very best out of their teams, and in supporting growth. In my previous position, I helped around 90 franchisees launch their business and subsequently grow.

“I’m now joining Walfinch at a very exciting time and I am inspired by CEO Amrit Dhaliwal’s focus on people, and the importance of inspiring a team to succeed. As a former franchisee, Amrit understands what support is needed, the value of sharing best practice and in treating staff well in order to get the very best out everyone. We are very much on the same page, and I look forward to playing a part in helping Walfinch’s franchisees succeed.

“Growth is the by-product of passion, and by helping our care managers to do things in the right way, recruit the right people, treat them well and not cut corners, they will feel inspired. I look forward to sharing my industry experience and to supporting our franchisees as they all continue pursuing their growth plans.

Amrit Dhaliwal, CEO of Walfinch adds: “Julie is a fantastic addition to the Walfinch team. She understands homecare through-and-through and has a superb track record of helping to grow a successful national organisation. She understands the importance of supporting franchise managers and carers and what is needed to make a growing homecare service operate sucessfully. To therefore have her supporting our managers in achieving ongoing milestones is very valuable and I extend a warm welcome to Julie on behalf of the entire network.”
