Wafflemeister heads to Salisbury

Wafflemeister is hoping to open a brand-new location in the town of Salisbury in the south of England.

Wafflemeister has submitted plans that will see it open a new location later this summer in the town of Salisbury.

The waffle franchise has set its sights on a building that’s been empty for more than a year, having previously housed a Hill House Hammond Insurance Services branch. If its plans are approved, the building will soon begin undergoing both internal and external alterations to make sure it’s the right home for Wafflemeister.

Wafflemeister’s Alex Nettle expressed the franchise’s excitement at the potential new opening.

“Over 2 million of the most delicious, handmade Belgian Liège waffles are sold every year from Wafflemeister stores at prestigious locations including Oxford St, Wimbledon and Kingston Upon Thames and now we’re bringing this mouth-watering concept to Salisbury High Street. Each waffle is traditional, authentic and completely and utterly delicious. Our heavenly gelato is handmade in Italy using a generations-old recipe. Each tube is hand-filled for the smoothest gelato this side of the Colosseum.”

The location’s proposed opening hours will be 9am to 10pm Monday through to Saturday and 10am to 6pm, giving the residents of Salisbury plenty of hours to get their hands on some of Wafflemeister’s delicious treats. These include rich, savoury American waffles, topped with bacon, eggs and maple syrup, sweet American waffles sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and served with creamy ice cream and the franchise’s famous Belgian Liege waffles.

Wafflemeister was founded in 2009 and is proud to sell a family recipe that dates back to the 1950s. It’s established locations in premium spots such as Oxford Street but is now looking to take its exciting franchise concept to new locations across the UK (and then the world).
