Two New Travelodge Hotels In London For Brent Cross And Harrow

Travelodge, London’s first budget hotel chain adds two new hotels to their franchise portfolio.
Travelodge’s two new hotels in Brent Cross and Harrow raises the franchise’s portfolio to over 530 hotels across the UK, with 71 properties in London. A total of £25m has been invested in the two new Travelodge hotels and 45 new jobs have been created.
The opening of London Brent Cross Travelodge has generated over 45 new jobs in the community and it is the group’s first hotel in Brent Cross. Located off the M1 motorway and a short distance from Brent Cross shopping centre, London Brent Cross Travelodge has 128 rooms, a Bar Café a customer car park.
Travelodge’s second hotel in Harrow is conveniently located in the town centre near the station. With 101 rooms and a Bar Café, London Harrow Travelodge has created 25 new jobs.
Both hotels feature the brand’s new upgraded contemporary sophisticated design inspired by the Travelodge business and leisure customers. The rooms have bespoke luxurious king-size Travelodge Dreamer beds complete with bedside USB charging points, a moonlighting surround, soft LED ceiling lighting, a ‘comfort cooling’ system, a Samsung 32inch digital television, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities and free WIFI.
Travelodge’s regional director for the South, Bryn Taylor, said: “London is a key growth area for Travelodge, as average hotel prices are currently twice the level of other the UK regions, and customers are crying out for more good quality, low-cost places to stay whilst visiting the capital. Therefore, we are delighted to have opened our first Travelodge hotel in Brent Cross and Harrow which has grown our London portfolio to 71 hotels. Both hotels are ideally located for business and leisure customers and have easy access into the centre of London.”
Travelodge Hotel franchise group is presently operating four more hotels in the London Borough of Barnet.
