Students around the UK can receive the support they need as Tutor Doctor looks to expand.

Tutor Doctor is looking to capitalise on the growing demand for personalised education in the UK with a month of events in student hotspots London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.

A recent report by market research firm, Global Industry Analysts, estimated that the international private tutoring market will reach $277 billion in 2022, and Tutor Doctor is well positioned to take advantage of this surge in demand.

With over 300 franchises in over 16 countries, Tutor Doctor has helped guide over 270,000 students towards to their academic goals.

Instead of working to a standard curriculum, Tutor Doctors use a system where by the student and their tutors devise a custom learning strategy based on their individual needs.

"The beauty of Tutor Doctor is that the brand can go anywhere. There's no limitation as to where we can open because students across the globe are all working on their own homework with different pain points that require our help," said Tutor Doctor president Frank Milner.

Tutor Doctor provides the service in the student’s own home, which helps create a strong, constructive and convenient learning environment. The last few years have seen positive word of mouth about the brand growing steadily in the UK, with many franchise owners choosing to become multi-unit owners.

"When I first started three years ago, there wasn't as much awareness of the Tutor Doctor brand in local communities because we were much smaller. But the perception of our brand has changed drastically over the past few years as we've continued to grow. Now, when we do shows or speak to franchise candidates, they've already seen our name in their local community," said Nigel Mayne, Tutor Doctor's Director of International Development. "Tutor Doctor is a brand name that's respected and recognisable, which speaks to the strength of our model."

The brand plans to use the rest of 2018 to assist both existing and new franchisees in the UK to further scale their businesses. The company wants to finalise deals on 30 new franchises by the end of the year.
