The owners of Tutor Doctor Cambridge scooped the title at the brand’s annual conference.
Tutor Doctor Cambridge’s owners have been celebrating after they received the accolade of ‘Franchisee of the Year’ out of Tutor Doctor’s global network of over 500.
At this year’s annual ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ global conference for the franchise, Lynne and Rob Kerrison were named as the top franchise in the whole network, thanks to their incredible commitment to their business.
Since becoming franchisees in 2010, the Kerrisons have gone from strength to strength. Their services have benefitted over 2,000 families across the Cambridge area, tutoring children right from primary school through to university age and helping them get ahead in their academic life. The pair have partnered with 15 local schools to help students with one-to-one tutoring outside the classroom, ensuring no children fall behind. The franchise has also been awarded preferred provider status by Cambridge County Council, as well as making Tutor Doctor’s global top five franchises consistently for the last four years.
With over 200 tutors working with them to implement the Tutor Doctor method of tutoring, the franchise has grown immensely in the eight years it’s been operating. It wasn’t just the Kerrisons’ leadership skills that were recognised either, as 47 of Cambridge Tutor Doctor’s tutors were nominated for the 2018 National Tutor of the Year awards. Rob Kerrison commented:
“We’re delighted and so proud to have been recognised for our efforts. We’re incredibly passionate about what we do and we genuinely care about the students, the families and the tutors that we work with. And I think it shows.”
With over 15 years in the tutoring franchise, Tutor Doctor has helped more than 200,000 students across the globe unlock their academic potential and overcome obstacles that are holding them back from truly achieving.
