Over 500 new employees wanted to help over the busy summer period
Travelodge is seeking to recruit over 500 new employees for its London hotels to fill newly expanded and summer roles across the capital. The roles will be across its 74 hotels in the city and the hotel company are looking to fill them with enthusiastic staff as soon as possible.
It’s part of Travelodge’s UK summer recruitment initiative across the country, which aims to find staff to lend a few extra pairs of hands over the busy holiday season. Nationwide, there are 1785 roles, both permanent and temporary summer roles, that need to be filled across its 546 hotels.
Of the 500 vacancies in and around London, 50 of the roles need to be filled for the company’s exciting new opening, London City Travelodge. The 395-room, flagship hotel is in a prime locationn within London’s City district on Middlesex Street, close to buildings like the Gherkin.
The other 450 positions, which include bar café assistants, house-keepers, guest room cleaners and reception staff, need to be filled quickly across Travelodge’s other London sites as it gears up for another busy summer season. With a predicted record year for Brits choosing staycations and city breaks, Travelodge will need plenty of help keeping up with the thousands of guests.
