Three of our care franchises are award finalists

Home Instead Senior Care, Radfield Home Care and Right At Home are all up for prizes in the BFA-HSBC British Franchise Awards.

The three home care franchises have all been nominated in different categories. Right At Home is a finalist in the Leadership & Culture award, while Home Instead has been put forward for the prestigious Franchisor of the Year category. And Radfield Home Care is celebrating the success of one of its franchisees, Jennie Bardrick, who’s up for the Next Generation Franchisee prize for those under 35.

The 32-year-old franchisee has developed her Havering & Brentwood franchise unit after buying it through a resale agreement. She said:

“Franchising has given me an incredible opportunity to enter a sector which is highly rewarding, gives me a chance to make a difference to the lives of older people, and brings me a work-life balance that I could only have dreamed of before.”

Right At Home’s CEO Ken Deary also expressed his pride at being nominated for an award. The Leadership & Culture category recognises franchises displaying impressive team spirit and a collaborative nature.

The Home Instead team is particularly excited to be nominated, as the Franchisor of the Year award is one of the biggest in the franchise industry. Ruth Brown, Business Development Director at Home Instead explained:

“Being a finalist in this award means such a lot as it also acknowledges our contribution to the care sector. Caring is at the heart of everything we do at Home Instead, for our national office, franchise owners, their teams and of course our wonderful clients.”

She continued:
