The Massage Company expands its UK presence with second site in Tunbridge Wells.
The Massage Company has announced plans for its second centre in the UK, which is set to open in September 2018.
The massage franchise, which offers massages including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Maternity, has invested an impressive £500,000 into the new centre. It will have 14 rooms, including a duo treatment room for couples or friends, and will be open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, so that residents of Tunbridge Wells, Kent can indulge in some relaxation or physiotherapy at a time that suits them.
Taran Bassi will be the company’s first franchisee and has been through a rigorous 12 months of training, working in the company’s first centre in Camberley, Surrey to ensure he’s up to the task. He has plans to open a further two locations of The Massage Company and can’t wait to get stuck into his first franchise.
The massage franchise has its own training academy, where qualified massage therapists are taught how to deliver a fantastic massage that addresses their client’s problem areas. The company’s goal is to turn massage into something that isn’t just a luxury, but that can be part of a healthy lifestyle as a natural solution to back, neck and shoulder pain.

The new site will provide a boost to the town centre, as it occupies the historic Fremlin Brewery that has been standing since 1860 and sits in a fantastic location with plenty of parking space. Recruitment and training is currently underway as the company looks for 20 to 30 skilled massage therapists to deliver their treatments.
The Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Len Horwood and Mrs Judy Horwood will open the centre in September 2018 in a celebration that marks the company’s second UK location.
