The Little Gym is getting ready for yet another UK centre to open its doors.
The Little Gym will be one of the first businesses to move into a flagship new building for Wycombe District Council. The gym franchise, which encourages children to develop a love of movement that also fosters their social, emotional and intellectual development, has been announced as one of two companies that will be based at the Handy Cross Hub, a brand-new centre in the middle of High Wycombe.
The building is nearing completion and the exciting business will be able to move in around January 2019, ready to welcome children in time for the new term. The Little Gym will occupy the first floor, offering parent and child classes, as well as gymnastics classes suitable for pre-teen children of all ages and abilities. It will be the 12th UK centre for the franchise, which is establishing a strong presence across the country and continues to look out for new franchisees and locations to bring its unique business model.
Speaking about the Hub and the businesses that will be moving in, Councillor Steve Broadbent said:
“The new day nursery plus the child development and gymnastics centre [The Little Gym] will be a huge boost for parents looking for quality child care and sophisticated opportunities to boost their children’s development while getting them fit and healthy.”
The Little Gym teaches children from four months right through to 12 years old about the joy of movement, using movement-based play that sparks their imaginations to enrich and supplement the skills they will learn at school. Founded in 1976, The Little Gym has more than 40 years of experience working with children and has more than 300 locations across the globe.
