The accounting franchise was delighted to announce that new records had been set across January and February, with the network helping many customers during the busy tax season.
TaxAssist Accountants has enjoyed a busy few months since the start of 2022, with new business enquiries flooding in at a higher rate than ever before. The accounting franchise puts its growing success down to a number of different factors, particularly the hard work conducted by, and excellent advertising strategies put in place by, the TaxAssist Support Centre. In the words of TaxAssist Accountants, “While a big percentage of new business will walk into the hundreds of shopfronts across the UK, the national Support Centre also takes pride in delivering qualified leads from the national marketing activities.”
The company’s Group Business Development Director, James Mattam, shared his excitement about this new record-breaking accomplishment, saying, “Our accountants have reported being very busy, and have been delighted with the volume of personal tax returns and businesses owners looking to appoint an accountant during January and February. The inbound sales team at the Support Centre have experienced high volumes of new clients calling in, and in anticipation of this, we increased the size of the team to manage the expected demand.”
James continued, “Tax season is naturally a busy time for the accounting industry and this year it was extended into February, with HMRC confirming that no late filing penalties would be applied during this month, so we’ve seen new business enquiry numbers surpassing previous years’ monthly totals.” Over 1,300 leads were qualified in January, and over 1,100 in February, with figures for March looking hugely strong too.
