TaxAssist Accountants runs virtual Discovery Days

TaxAssist Accountants has been running its Discovery Days virtually and they’ve proven highly successful.
When the coronavirus pandemic hit, TaxAssist Accountants, like many other franchises, was forced to move its meetings online. It began hosting prospective franchisees over Zoom to provide more information about its investment opportunity.
Since then, the bookkeeping and accounting franchise has been able to welcome almost 70 would-be entrepreneurs.
Seth Brown, Senior Manager at TaxAssist Accountants, said:
“We have now hosted nine virtual Discovery Days this year, and while we miss not being able to host prospective franchisees in Norwich, the virtual format has allowed those interested in the franchise to continue to fully explore the TaxAssist opportunity.
“The response to our virtual Discovery Days has been overwhelmingly positive with feedback from delegates praising their content, format and smooth operation.”
According to Seth, the number of people interested in joining the brand has actually grown since last year, amid a growing interest in flexible working:
“Enquiries have increased throughout the year, with a 51 percent increase on 2019 in the second half of the year.”
He added,
“I’m pleased to say we’ve continued to recruit well too, with 13 joining as new franchisees, two joining as franchise resales and two as new franchisee partners, bringing us up to 244 franchised areas in the UK. We also already have our first sign up to the February 2021 course.”
TaxAssist Accountants has also adapted its initial training course to be delivered virtually, and is offering £4,000 cash back to reflect this change.
