TaxAssist Accountants launches Clapham branch

TaxAssist Accountants has announced the opening of its latest branch location in Clapham Junction.

The new business is at 205 Lavender Hill in central London, and run by Sarah Kay in partnership with her previous boss, Martin Thomas. For the last four years, Sarah has worked as a practice manager in Martin’s TaxAssist Accountants branch in Victoria. The older bookkeeping and accounting franchise unit has so far developed a team of six people and a 600-strong client base over its eight-year lifespan.

Sarah said,

“My background is in small business accounting and tax and I think I’m a perfect fit for the TaxAssist business model. The set-up suits my strengths and having a proven track record of managing TaxAssist Victoria means I can join the franchise with full confidence.”

She added,

“TaxAssist is a fantastic brand and, having seen first-hand the support and expertise available, I think it is miles ahead of a lot of its competition. Martin and I have made a good team and, over the last four years, client numbers have grown, which I’m confident will continue, particularly as we are looking to open further shops.”

Despite the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, the two TaxAssist Accountants units have attracted a number of new clients.

Martin revealed,

“We have already generated a lot of interest among local businesses and self-employed professionals who have arranged appointments for meetings. Clients can contact us for a free initial consultation either by calling us or online as they prefer.”
