TaxAssist Accountants franchisee Russell Chapman opens second Glasgow shop

Russell first became a franchisee with the accounting company in 2018 and has now expanded to a second location.

Russell purchased his first TaxAssist Accountants franchise from a former franchisee three years ago, and has since made his mark on the Scottish city. At this location, Russell has increased the annual turnover of the established practice from £160,000 to £360,000, with the help of 570 wonderful clients.

He improved the procedures, software and policies in place, making sure everything was working in the best way possible. Russell was determined to make his franchise as efficient as possible, improving its overall profitability, and he did exactly that.

Delighted and encouraged by his first shop’s substantial financial growth, Russell decided it was time to expand his investment and open a second Glasgow location with the bookkeeping and accounting franchise. Discussing the process, Russell gave credit to his hard-working team of staff, and added that,

“Massive appreciation also needs to go towards the Support Centre in Norwich [...] [and especially] the support provided during the pandemic. Centralised updates were regularly sent to clients via various social media platforms and mass emailing functionality. This allowed clients to be updated with the continuing developments regarding grants and other help and information available and our clients have been well supported as a result of this.”
