TaxAssist Accountants has added to its network of 240 franchisees by welcoming two new investors.
Paul Simpson will cover the territory of Market Harborough, while Mano Nagendram manages the Swansea Central area. They took part in the fourth virtual training course delivered by the Support Centre team.
Before joining the bookkeeping and accounting franchise, Paul had originally intended to start a part-time business, but after attending a discovery day, he was keen to get involved.
He explained,
“I was blown away by the professionalism and openness of the entire management team, and so I decided to devote my time and energy to the venture full time.”
In fact, Paul immediately got to work:
“I started planning my new business as soon as I had attended the Discovery Day and I have already signed the lease on my first shop, which is undergoing extensive renovation and refurbishment.”
Although Paul took part in a virtual training scheme due to the pandemic, he was grateful for the team’s guidance and support. He said,
“Although, I would have preferred to be in Norwich with a group of people in the same position as myself, I do not feel that the virtual course has been a disadvantage at all. In some ways, I have benefitted, as I have been at home and able to continue to supervise my shop renovation.”
Karl Sandall, Group Chief Executive Director, welcomed the two new franchisees and talked about a promising future for the brand:
“Our accountants around the UK have been very busy, and client demand continues to increase significantly, as business owners look for local, accessible accountants that can provide them with the advice and support they need to help decision-making, implement change and plan for the future.”
Karl encourages anyone interested in becoming a franchisee to take part in one of the franchise’s discovery days. While the training is delivered through a virtual course, the business is giving investors £4,000 cashback on the franchise fee.
