A TaxAssist Accountants franchisee hosted a fun party to celebrate the opening of his second successful location.
Successful TaxAssist Accountants franchisee Prasanth Ganguly hosted a party for local businesses to celebrate the opening of his second location. The fun occasion even saw Mayor of Newport Pagnell, Paul Day, join the local community and cut the ribbon to the exciting new branch of the bookkeeping and accounting franchise.
Ganguly became a franchisee in 2015, when he opened TaxAssist Accountants Milton Keynes and now looks after around 275 small businesses across the area. He spent more than 26 years working in senior engineering and finance roles for global companies but was inspired to enter the world of franchising after helping his wife set up a tutoring franchise. Explaining what motivated his career change, Ganguly said:
“Though I enjoyed my career, my experience in project finance and personal involvement in taxation, along with a desire to be self-employed, brought me closer to TaxAssist Accountants. After attending a discovery day, meeting the team and getting to know the wider successful family out there, I was totally convinced that the opportunity was right for me.”
After enjoying three and a half years of sustainable and steady growth, he began searching for the perfect location for his second branch. When a store on Newport Pagnell’s High Street came up, Ganguly knew it was the right place for him, saying:
“I’ve been on the lookout for highly visible, shopfront premises for some time and the High Street is the perfect location.”
Ganguly hopes he will now be able to meet rising levels of demand from small firms and new enterprises across the area and is looking forward to continued success in the future.
