Subway Franchise operator in Bahrain announced ambitious Gulf retail expansion programme is in full throttle.
Subway franchise operator YYT Food Corporation is speeding past the starting line targeting 19 new GCC retail locations in the Gulf region by the end of 2018. YYT Food Corporation is the F&B franchise operator for the US sandwich giant Subway in Bahrain and with the brand’s rapidly growing popularity across the region, the group has decided to speed ahead with an ambitious expansion programme that includes a new benchmark of 165 branded restaurants in the region. The franchise group is committed to increasing employment in the region by a whopping 20%.
Owned by Global Capital Management, YYT Food Corporation is a subsidiary of Kuwait-based Global Investment House that operates established international brands such as Vanellis, Pad Thai, Teriyaki, Subway, Al Mangal Express, Tandori and Menchie’s Yum Yum Tree Brand. YYT Food Corportation’s chairman, M Zakir H Rizvi said: "We are proud of our acquisition of the business and steps towards transformation and growth. Global is looking to position YYT Food Corp as an emerging F&B platform."
YYT Food Corporation operates Subway franchises in 20 locations across Bahrain and expects to double in size by 2019. Chief executive officer for YYT Food Corporation added: “We will continue to develop our brand strategy, while focusing on our core values of creating everyday food with fresh ingredients and vibrant energy for our customers."
