Subway brings fresh subs to hospital patients

Subway has teamed up with a well-known facility services provider to bring its delicious sandwiches to a local hospital.
Subway has teamed up with franchise partner ISS to open its first store in West Middlesex Hospital. The sandwich franchise has already opened more than 800 stores across the UK and Ireland with ISS, which operates branches in non-traditional locations like universities, transport hubs and healthcare centres.

This new opening shows that Subway is committed to making sure that fresh, nutritious food is available in non-traditional locations like hospitals. Its menu meets the criteria for food sold on NHS premises, as set out by the CQC. More than 10 new jobs have also been created for the local community.
Colin Hughes, Country Director for Subway UK and Ireland, commented on the exciting new opening.
