Stagecoach, the UK’s leading performance arts franchise business takes Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on the road to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
To help celebrate its 30th anniversary, Stagecoach, the UK’s leading performance arts franchise has partnered with Disney to bring Beauty and the Beast to over 6,500 pupils across the UK. By taking Beauty and the Beast on the road, the drama school operator hopes to beat its own 2008 record and set a new world record for the greatest concurrent performance of one show. Back in 2008, 66 schools across the UK participated in the performance of the musical Glad Rags. This year’s performance of Beauty and the Beast already has almost three times the number of participants signed up for the show.
Beauty and the Beast is scheduled to hit stages across the UK in July 2018 at 6pm. Stagecoach has pledged its support to YoungMinds and hopes to raise over £30,000 through special performances and fundraising events. YoungMinds is a charity that advocates the well-being and mental health of young people nationwide.
Founded in 1988, Stagecoach is the UK’s leading franchise network of part-time performance arts schools for 4-18 year olds. With over 1 million students around the world who have been inspired by Stagecoach, the performing arts franchise business continues to blossom reaching over 40,000 students across a network of over 250 franchisees nationwide. Stagecoach franchisors do not need any prior experience and will not be required to teach. All potential franchisors will need is a passion for performing arts education and a penchant for creative content and management.
