Snap-on has been voted as a favourite of technicians in the industry yet again by an influential magazine.
Snap-on has received yet another nod of recognition for the quality of its industry-leading products. In the annual ‘People’s Choice’ awards run by Professional Tools & Equipment News (PTEN), readers were given the chance to speak up about which products they felt were truly special among the nominees for the magazine’s Innovation Awards.
The tool franchise managed to snap up an astonishing 14 awards, with sister companies Snap-on Diagnostics and Mitchell 1 claiming another four awards, meaning that the Snap-on brand was the readers’ favourite in 18 of the 27 categories. The fantastic achievement also means that Snap-on is ahead of its competitors, as it’s won more ‘People’s Choice’ categories than any other company in the history of the awards.
Snap-on’s specially designed tools were also honoured by MOTOR magazine, as its CTR767 3/8″ Drive Cordless Long-Neck Ratchet and its John Bean V2280 Imaging Wheel Alignment System featured on its ‘Top 20 Tools for 2018’ list. The franchise received the awards from both PTEN and MOTOR magazine at the 2018 Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week Show in glitzy Las Vegas, adding to an already fantastic year for the franchise.
Ben Brenton, Vice President of Innovation at Snap-on, said that the franchise was thrilled to have been chosen by the people of the industry.
"These awards validate the priority Snap-on places on listening to and observing our customers, and our ability to respond innovatively and effectively to their needs. Being chosen both by industry experts and technicians themselves is a true reflection of the Snap-on innovation that is born out of that customer connection. We are grateful for these honours and proud to design, engineer and manufacture solutions for a more productive work environment."
